For responsible organizations, which see themselves as part of the wider community in the long run, profitability is not the only goal. That is why we strive to achieve a positive impact on society through a series of socially responsible activities.

Responsible business towards society and nature has always been the basis of corporate values in Smart. This is a priority that we believe is essential for creating true values.

THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES WE AS A COMPANY ARE PROUD OF

ECOLOGICAL-HUMANITARIAN ACTION TO A SMILE

For many years, Smart has been actively participating in the ecological-humanitarian action initiated by the association “Čepom do osmeha”. By separating plastic bottle caps, we are improving the system of solid waste separation in Serbia and strengthening and providing support to individuals and families of people with disabilities in order to function more easily in everyday life and education. The box for collecting plastic bottle caps is located on the company's premises, and we invite everyone who would like to join us in this action to bring their plastic bottle caps.

BOWLING FOR LIFE

Although it is said that life has no price, in real life this is not true for everyone. Our Smart team is happy to be a part of humanitarian sports events that have a donor character, to help people who need financial assistance to carry out treatment and final recovery. One of such events was the "Bowling for Life" bowling tournament to provide funds for a sick fellow citizen. With a good team spirit and a desire to make a difference, our employees help those who need help the most.

DONATIONS FOR ASSOCIATIONS

Donations for the work of many associations that aim to facilitate the treatment and life of children, adults, and their families, is one of the activities we include in our program of socially responsible companies. "Uncle Boca" is an association of parents, guardians and friends of children suffering from and treated for malignant diseases, which seeks to provide children and parents with psychological and psychosocial support through the programs "Back to School", Radio "Mladice" and a unique camp in Serbia „We can do anything". Along with this association, we also support the work of the association "Hrabriša", which aims to provide support to families with children with neurotransmitter diseases, dopa-reactive dystonia’s and other neurometabolic diseases to exercise the right to diagnosis and adequate treatment in Serbia and abroad.

SUPPORT FOR YOUNG VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS

We support the saying "In a healthy body, a healthy spirit", so in the past we have allocated donations for the work of sports clubs that promote sports and team spirit among young people. That's how the volleyball clubs for girls OK Smeč and OK FutogWest found themselves on our way. It is the teams from these clubs that successfully overcome obstacles and climb slowly on the classification ladder with the constant growth of new club members.

BATTLE FOR BABIES

Smart d.o.o. is proud to participate in one of the largest humanitarian actions "Battle for babies - Donation for 100 incubators" which helped our youngest and smallest fellow citizens to fight for their lives. What makes us so proud is that our small contribution caused another child's cry, gave strength to the little fighter, and sent a smile to the face of the happy parents of our little friend. We have fulfilled our duty, as a socially responsible company, and thus proved that the most valuable thing is the basic human right, the right to life.

COMPUTERS FOR CHILDREN

At the initiative of Vivify Ideas, which launched the action for the Children's Village "Dr Milorad Pavlović" in Sremska Kamenica, we joined the action aimed at providing protégés with access to computers and thus providing children with better development and the opportunity to achieve better lives and careers. A total of 441,000 RSD, 3 desktop computers and 10 older laptops were collected in the action. Of the funds, 10 desktops were completed and the necessary equipment for laptops, so the effects of the action are: one desktop computer and one laptop for each house! In addition, SBB joined the action and provided internet throughout the Children's Village. Currently, an average of 7-8 children, aged from two and a half to 18, live in each house.

We were pleased to participate in this action. We certainly praise the initiative and perseverance of the organizers of Vivify Ideas, and we want the children to learn a lot, to make computers easier for them and to make good choices in their careers and lives.

SUPPORT FOR YOUNG DANCERS

ART of DANCE international festivals were created with the aim of connecting dance, art and sport and represent the culture of dance, developing dance perspectives and at the same time supporting dance as one of the most important physical activities, which can complement free time and improve health. It is a pleasure to support young talents in realizing their dreams.
