We are still gathering impressions, but we can confidently say that the past week in Dubai was intense, inspiring, and a confirmation that technology and innovations from Serbia have a place on the global stage. Smart, with a proud presence and in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, showcased its solutions at one of the most significant technological events of today — GITEX Global 2025, held from October 13 to 17 in Dubai.

Response and Established Contacts

GITEX Global 2025 pushed boundaries: with over 6,800 exhibitors from around 180 countries, more than 2,000 startups, and a large number of investors and corporate representatives, this provided an ideal platform for us to network our products and solutions with global partners, exchange experiences, and initiate discussions about future collaborations.

Our Mission and Presented Solutions
Within the Serbian national pavilion, our team presented three key products that reflect the vision of a smarter, more connected, and efficient organization:

• Explora – a modern platform that transforms visits into interactive journey through digital space
• AutoBot RPA – robotic process automation that enables companies to free up time and resources, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
• Missing Link – an advanced AI platform that integrates three AI engines into a unique environment, allowing for better decision-making, analytics, and knowledge management.

During the expo, our team held numerous B2B meetings, demonstrations, and live presentations, showcasing how solutions from Serbia can truly compete with global standards.

Impressions & Learnings

Exhibiting at such an event is both a challenge and an opportunity. We encountered the latest technologies, from AI-driven cars, smart city solutions, quantum technologies, to startups that are changing the game.
For us, the greatest discoveries were:

• Global competition and cooperation are equally important. Being part of a network of innovators is as significant as having the product itself;
• Local expertise + global platform = a powerful combination
• Continuity is key – participating in such events is not a one-time affair but a step in long-term development.

What’s Next?

This appearance is just the beginning. On one hand, we return enriched with experiences, contacts, and ideas. On the other hand, we are already looking to the future: Serbia will host the first event from the GITEX family in Southeast Europe under the name GITEX AI Serbia, planned for May 2027 in Belgrade, opening a great opportunity for the domestic tech ecosystem to showcase its growing significance and connect with global trends.
